Recipe: Sugar and Spice Pecans {Crockpot!}

 

There are several recipes for sugared pecans out there, and I knew I needed to try one myself! So here’s our tweaked recipe. Everyone loves them and they are easy shmeasy!

  • 1/2 cup (1 stick) butter
  • 16 oz pecan halves
  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 2 tsp. cinnamon
  • 1/2 tsp. allspice
  • 1/4 tsp. ginger

Melt butter by placing into crockpot and turning pot on “high” for about 15 minutes. Add pecans and stir to coat. Add remaining ingredients and stir well. Place lid on crockpot and allow to cook 15 minutes on high. Remove lid, stir, and turn heat to low. Cook on low uncovered for about 2 hours or until glazed and crunchy.
